Advancing education for children with special needs

04_Section heading_Our story

Trilogy Foundation Canterbury Bankstown is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates and raises funds to advance the education of children with intellectual disabilities in the Canterbury Bankstown area.

We are a group of like-minded parents and community members that are striving towards creating a better future for our special needs children. With the support of local council, businesses, schools, clubs and community we provide support and equipment that the children would otherwise have gone without.

Wangee Park School, Campsie: 2019

Many thanks for your recent donation to our school. The benefits have been fantastic and I am happy to share with you that we have used the funds to create our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) signage (see picture included).

PBL is a home/school wide system of support, which includes strategies for teaching and promoting positive behaviours across multiple settings.

It is an integral part of staff and student wellbeing here at Wangee Park. Staff members promote and have high expectations for positive behaviour, throughout all school environments. This new signage is a great tool for teachers and students alike in creating a high quality teaching and learning environment.

The signage will be used to help students to be safe, respectful learners in their daily routines.

Thanks again for your most generous donation and we look forward to building a strong relationship with the Trilogy Foundation in 2020.

With sincere appreciation,

Anthony Bulmer
Principal
Wangee Park School
